In the face of increasing global competition and an increase pace of change, universities are under greater pressure to contribute more heavily to their region. To achieve this, universities are not only being charged with the responsibility to educate and support entrepreneurial activity, but also become more entrepreneurial organisations themselves. However, making this shift is extremely challenging and requires a strategic approach and commitment and strong university leadership.
The aim of this workshop is to highlight practical steps that you will be able to take to support your university to become more entrepreneurial. The workshop focusses on enabling staff members to make improvements to the university’s performance and impact as an entrepreneurial university. This will be achieved through providing a combination of theory and practical tools as well as hands-on activities.
